Initiated zero-plastic packaging, reducing single-use plastic packaging, and began calculating product carbon footprints.
2019
Received FORCE Category 8 certification. Established a mold injection education center.
Achieved TL 9000:2016 certification.

Received FORCE 4PPoE certification.
2017
Hosted Category 8 laboratory comparison. Established a fiber optic research group. Expanded the second plant in the Keelung factory area.

Provided laboratory test fixtures to internationally renowned certification companies for certification testing. Successfully developed a comprehensive Category 5e high-end network solution.

Expanded R&D and engineering departments, upgraded laboratory equipment with multiple network analyzers, and successfully developed Category 5 network connectors, Category 5 Solutions, and 110 Blocks.

Undertook a third factory expansion in Xizhi, further growing operations.
1994
Established an R&D department to develop proprietary products, completed Data Voice solutions, and set up a Structured Cabling network transmission speed laboratory. Expanded the factory in Xizhi for the second time, increasing operations.

Assisted suppliers in obtaining FSC certification. Received healthy workplace certification.
2023
Established the Surtec Earth Team, organizing regular beach cleanups and wetland conservation activities annually. Announced the goal of achieving net-zero emissions by 2050.

Received FORCE MLTP certification. Won numerous awards as an excellent supplier from well-known international companies for several consecutive years.

Continued R&D innovation, developing SPE products. Completed the greenhouse gas inventory report.
2020
Passed SGS antibacterial and anti-mold testing. Collaborated with other industries to develop Smart Home/Building products. Joined the TIA SPEC & SPE System Alliance.

Joined the IEEE association. Launched toolless connectors.

Achieved ISO 14001 certification.
2004
Participated in the Category 6A standard setting, established the first Near-End Crosstalk (NEXT) measurement laboratory in Asia, and successfully developed Category 6A products with global patents.
2002
Joined the BICSI association. Became an ETL On-Site Verified laboratory. Expanded the factory and increased production capacity.
2001
Participated in the ANSI/TIA Category 6 standard setting subcommittee. Successfully developed a comprehensive Category 6 solution, including network connectors, jacks, accessories, panels, 110 Blocks, and other high-end transmission products. Became the first company to launch a fire-resistant network cabling system.
2000
First to propose multi-port multimedia snap-in panels and boxes. Joined the ANSI/TIA association the same year.
